Who is Ran? Meet Our Company Mascot

You might have already spotted her on our flyers, banners, or festival booths. Standing in the corner, waving, smiling, sometimes striking a pose, and occasionally congratulating you on a great purchase. Her name is Ran – and now is the perfect time to introduce her properly.

Why do we even have a mascot?

Because anime. Because every proper project in this world has its own little “spirit” to represent it. And since we sell figures, merch, and everything related to Japanese pop culture, we wanted someone to personify what we're all about.

Ran is our answer to that. She’s the face (and the soul) of Bakuhatsu. A symbol of what we do, how we do it, and who we do it for. She’s here for you – fans, collectors, anime lovers, and con-goers. And also for us... when we need a coffee break.

How did Ran come to be?

Ran isn’t some generic stock image we bought in between a rice field photo and a PowerPoint logo. She’s an original character, designed just for us by the talented illustrator @D_liggi_22.

We wanted her to be likable, striking, and memorable – reflecting the energy, playfulness, and passion we put into our work. And, of course, she had to be someone you'd want to display on your shelf (yep, merch is coming).

So, who is Ran really?

You don’t officially know her full backstory yet – but don’t worry, the lore is coming. For now, what we can tell you is: Ran loves anime, she’s curious, a little restless, and always ready to help (especially when it comes to picking a figure).

She’s our guide at festivals, the mascot of our site, and kind of an ambassador for anyone who believes anime figures aren’t “useless junk,” but legit joy in plastic form.

Ran also brings personality into our e-shop. Because even though we sell “things,” we do it for people. And people deserve more than just a product description and a price tag.

Where can you find Ran?

  • At festivals – usually on banners, flyers, or stickers near our booth (maybe even on a T-shirt).
  • On our website – mostly around blog posts, announcements, and special promos.
  • On our socials – sometimes she’ll say something, sometimes just strike a pose, but she’s always around.
  • And soon… as merch! We’re working on designs for stickers, pins, and maybe one day… a figure.

What’s next?

Ran’s staying with us. We’ll be giving her more personality over time, maybe even a story arc, and definitely more screen time. She’s our visual voice when we’re not typing up posts like this one.

If you’ve already met her, let us know what you think – we take feedback seriously (especially the nice kind).
